GrantsNet of Charleston is the grant-writing and fund raising non-profit corporation established by Agape Ministries of Charleston. GrantsNet taken on the task of raising the additional $1.0 million needed to preserve/maintain/up-fit the historically significant Josiah Smith Tennent House (ca1859). GrantsNet of Charleston is also a Enterprise Resource Community (ERC) resource mobilization organization that specializes in securing funding for small not for profit organization and other non-profit organizations located within the County of Charleston, specifically the 7.3 square mile ERC. The mission of GrantsNet is to help small not-for-profit organizations and other non-profit agencies in their quest to become self-sufficient. They function as a "virtual" grants department by using the most up to date communication technology to bridge the distance between our clients and us anywhere within the County. This enables GrantsNet to save thousands of dollars for clients, the cost to create their own in-house program. Although GrantsNet fee is minimal, the services are of the highest caliber. Unlike many grant consultants/organizations who offer only proposal writing services, GrantsNet works side-by-side with clients each step of the way in the grant development process with a full range of management and resources development services.
